Jeanneau NC 11, Still a Sweet Ticket to Ride

Since the very beginning, the NC 11 was destined for great success. Why? If you ask this question to Mike Bassett of Louis Marine, his list of reasons will be long and detailed starting with the fact that in his mind, the NC 11 at 36 feet is the perfect size for his clients boating on Long Island Sound. “So far we have sold over 20 of the NC 11’s” said Mike. “Our clients love everything about them.”

“The NC 11 offers a plethora of excellent design and performance features.” Randy Vance, Boating Magazine

Since first being introduced in the fall of 2010, just over 350 boats have been built to making it a very popular boat. A few of the features that Mike Bassett really likes includes the fact that since the boat is a coupe, there’s no need for canvas. He also likes the interior living space. The NC 11’s large vertical windows allows for plenty of natural light and a 360 degree visibility from the helm. Another notable feature Mike likes is the opening pilot door allowing easy access from the helm station to the side deck.

“There’s a lot to like about the NC 11, especially if you’re someone who uses their boat in many different ways. While some boats on the market try to get this blend right, they can be exercises in compromise. This new concept from Jeanneau, on the other hand, nails the landing.”  Gary Reich, Boats.Com

A few other notable features of the NC 11 include the twin, Volvo D3 diesel engines that offer great fuel efficiency as well as providing a top-end speed of just about 35 MPH. Mike’s clients also enjoy the optional joy-stick control making maneuvering in tight quarters, a piece of cake.

“The Jeanneau NC 11 fits nicely into an affordable “sweet spot” among mid-sized powerboats. For a cruising couple with occasional guests, this sports sedan offers generous living spaces, intelligent features and sparkling performance in a stylish 35-foot package.” Robert Buller, Canadian Yachting

Great living spaces both outside and in, continue to make the NC 11 a Sweet Ticket to Ride

More than anything however, owners of the NC 11 really appreciate the overall design of the boat and the way the various elements and living spaces come together so remarkably well into one great functional package. And, with 350 owners out there, we have to believe that what they say is true.
