At 22 feet, the Leader 6.5 is a great little family boat, perfect for wakeboarding, water skiing or simply bombing around your local waters. Powered by a single 200hp Yamaha engine, the Leader 6.5 has plenty of zip to move you around in grand style while at the same time providing plenty of comfort aboard, including, a small cuddy-cabin below.
The other new model launching in this year’s Ft. Lauderdale show is the Michael Peters’ designed Leader 9.0. With an overall layout much like the Leader 10.5 introduced just last year, the Leader 9.0 features either a twin Yamaha 200-250hp or single 300hp, great walk-around deck, twin helm seats, large forward sunpad, and an exceptional cockpit complete with outside galley. A T-top is also available.
Step below and you’ll find a good-size interior with 2 cabins, a single head with shower and nice size galley, making the Leader 9.0 perfectly well suited for nights on board away from the dock.
Both the Leader 6.5 and 9.0 can be found at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from November 1-5. For more information on both these models, please visit the Jeanneau website at jeanneau.com.
